USS HOWARD W. GILMORE AS -16 Brass plaque emblem. During her career , the GILMORE had 2 emblems. One is for the diesel boats and the other is for the nuclear boats. This emblem was made on board the GILMORE's foundry
There is another one here and it is highly polished and without the black paint
