USS YOSEMITE AD-19 Original and Heavy brass plaque emblem. Measures 6 inches across and the detail is up to an inch thick. There are no indications of having been mounted before. I would think , if the black was removed , polished brass would be found under neath. In excellent and rare condition , by rare I mean this is an inch thick piece of brass , making one think that this might be an ash tray which it is not.
